Taadol Band
is an Iranian indie rock band formed in Tehran. The band is composed of Ali Keivanmarz (vocals, guitar); Majid Heidari (guitar, vocals); Ali Sina (drums, percussion); Mehrdad Bakhtiari (Bass and Keyboards). The band was formed in late 2007 by Ali Keivanmarz and Majid Heidari after the two met as members of an instructive performance in a music institute.
Appellation
The name Ta’adol was chosen to honor the band’s early conceptual sense to an ultimately balanced universe in every segment. In Farsi ta’adol means equilibrium.
Inspiration
The name of the band and the meaning behind it and my client, the band drummer who by that time was a chemist student, inspired me to design their logo with a sense of chemistry. I decided to play with the atomic equilibrium symbol. The symbol ⇌ has two half arrowheads, one pointing in each direction.
Revision
Because of the band style in music which is indie and funk rock, we preferred to use blunter lines and reduce the sharpness of the logo.
